Chocolate Business: The way Shagufta of Ranchi transformed his passion into a successful business, it is inspiring. Leaving the job of a software engineer, Shagufta turned her hobby into work and today she is earning more than 40,000 every month from home. Shagufta told Local18 that he earned a BTech degree from a prestigious Engineering College in Chennai and worked as a software engineer in Bengaluru. Despite working in a big company like Infosys, he was not getting self -conscience in his work. After marriage and children, they started thinking about their career change.
While working in Bengaluru, he often saw designer chocolates, which woke up his childhood hobby. Shagufta was fond of making chocolate since childhood, but due to busy career and other responsibilities, she could not push it forward. Later he decided that now the time has come to convert his hobby into a profession.
Shagufta started her chocolate business from home. He participated in some workshops and took training to make chocolate. He then started making different types of chocolates from himself, including many variety such as rock chocolate, dark chocolate, and laddus chocolate. He also started preparing customized chocolates, so that customers can order chocolate as per their choice.
Shagufta said that his chocolates are not ordinary, but are special because they do not use cornflour or sugar. It is completely natural and pure. They mix dry fruits, use dates and honey to make chocolate beneficial for health.
Shagufta’s business gradually increased. Today his chocolates are available in many big shops in Ranchi. On special occasions, such as Diwali and other festivals, there is a lot of demand for customized chocolates. Shagufta says that the sale of her chocolates in a month reaches 40,000 to 50,000 rupees. Apart from this, he also has an Instagram account, through which he gets orders online.
