LIC Insurance Sakhi Scheme: Eligibility
Under the LIC Insurance Sakhi scheme, selected members who are between 18 and 70 years old will work as LIC agents and receive a fixed amount of ₹ 7000 every month for the first year. After this, from the second year, agents will get ₹ 6000 every month, provided at least 65 percent of the policies opened during the first year should be active.
Significantly, women who are in-laws of retired corporation employees, former agents, relatives, husbands or wife, children, siblings and LIC employees will not be eligible for this scheme.
What is Bima Sakhi Yojana?
Bima Sakhi Yojana, also known as Bima Sakhi Scheme, is an initiative launched by Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) that aims to empower women and promote financial literacy and insurance awareness.
