It provides financial assistance, modern equipment and skill development to ensure stability and development in the competitive market.
Who can take advantage of this
Artisans or workers of the unorganized sector are engaged in one of the 18 specified traditional businesses using tools and their hands. The age to apply should be 18 years or more. At the time of registration, the applicant should be actively engaged in his business. In the last five years, schemes like PMEGP, PM Self -Religion or Mudra should not be benefited. Only one member of the family will get the benefit of this scheme, including husband, wife and their unmarried children. Government employees and their families are not eligible to get benefits.
Learn the benefits of this scheme
This scheme provides various benefits to artisans and craftsmen. Under this, PM Vishwakarma certificate and ID card is issued. The beneficiaries will be eligible for bail-free loans up to Rs 1 lakh in the first installment and up to Rs 2 lakh in the second installment, in such a situation, both loans will be available at a low interest rate of 5 percent. Basic training (5-7 days) and advanced training (15+ days) are provided with a stipend of Rs 500 per day.
The amount is given in two installments
Provides e-voucher of up to Rs 15,000 for the tool at the beginning of basic training. Bail-free loans up to Rs 3 lakh are offered in two parts, with subsidized interest rates and eligibility conditions based on completion of training and adopting digital transactions. A prize of 1 rupee on each digital transaction, up to 100 transactions per month. This includes assistance for e-commerce appearance to increase quality certification, branding, and market access and price chain contact.

A one -day awareness camp and registration camp was organized by MSME Development Office, Patna at Hotel Shalimar Palace in Jehanabad, Jehanabad, District Industries Center, Bihar Udyog Sangh, Patna, Small Udyog Bharti, Bihar Chapter, Patna Dicky Bihar Chapter, Bihar Chapter and other local industry associations under Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Yojana. More than 220 participants participated in the program, out of which 57 participants were registered on PM Vishwakarma portal during the program.
