Women of the district are working by forming separate groups. They also have a group through which women have prepared organic products of makeup. All these products are chemical free.
These products are being sold in the market through the group. They are making good profits in this work, due to which they are quite happy. This effort of women is not only increasing their income, but is also making them self -sufficient.
Assi, president of this group of women, told Local18 that there are 10 women in our group. Its name is ‘Aasi Self Help Group’, which is running near Jama Masjid in the city. He says that we are all preparing organic products together.
Aasi further said that our products are chemical free. This includes many things to be used in makeup of women including day night cream, serum, shampoo, lip balm, lipstick, face cream, soap. The quality of these products is being liked by customers.
Aasi told Local18 that the products of ‘AAi Self Help Group’ are not too expensive despite being organic. Their price starts at Rs 20 and they can be purchased at a very appropriate price. Women are selling these products online and offline.
She said that she has been doing this work through group for 5 years. This gives them work sitting at home and they are able to help their family financially.
Each woman of the group is earning 10 to 15 thousand rupees per month. With this initiative, women are not only getting financial strength, but they are also realizing their dreams.
