Archana is a member of Ram Janaki self -help group in Amethi district, which includes a total of 10 women. He has only educated high school, but his spirits are so high that they have become a source of inspiration for other women. Archana’s husband works in a private company in Ludhiana, and Archana is maintaining the family through her group.
Archana works to make candles. She buys Rs 250 per kg wax and makes 15 to 20 packets of candles.
She is making good profits by selling each packet for 500 to 1000 rupees. This work provides good benefit to them in a month, which is strengthening their financial condition.
Archana told Local18 that earlier she had to ask for help in front of others due to lack of employment. But today, after joining the group, not only his identity has been made, but their expenses also run with this work.
She is able to give better education to her children and is also maintaining the family better. After joining the group, there has been a positive change in their lives, and they have changed the fate of themselves and other women with their hard work.
