After returning to the village, he contacted the Animal Husbandry Department and decided to make a career in this area. He started the work of animal husbandry and gradually achieved success in it. They believe that this business not only gives self -sufficiency but is also a source of good income. Now they are earning well every month from this business.
Sharad Dixit told Local18 that he has been doing animal husbandry work for the last 4 years. They have an advanced breed cow and buffalo, which gives better quality milk. Through this business, they are earning good profits every day and their business is increasing continuously.
At the same time, Sharad Dixit said that he has cows of Gir, Shahiwal, HF and Rathi breed. Apart from this, Murra and Bhadavari breeds are present in buffaloes. They have a total of 8 buffaloes and 22 cows, from which they produce 180 to 200 liters of milk per day.
They earn from 8 to 10 lakh rupees annually through milk production. He says that animal husbandry is a profitable business and if done properly, it makes a lot of profit. There is definitely hard work in this business, but its earnings are more than other jobs.
Sharad Dixit says that self -employment is more beneficial than the job. In this, a person owns himself and does not have to work under anyone. Self -employment provides self -sufficiency and economic stability also comes.
The earnings from animal husbandry are not limited to milk production. Sharad Dixit says that they also earn good money by collecting cow dung. They have additional income by making manure from cow dung and selling it. It becomes a source of dual earnings in a way.
Sharad Dixit has proved that animal husbandry can become a profitable business if the right plan and efforts are made. They also advise other youth to adopt self -employment and become self -sufficient.
