Business Tips: Women’s self -help groups have made a unique effort to prepare Bell and Ambadi juice in collaboration with the Department of Agriculture, which is completely organic. With this effort, not only women are benefiting financially, but are also motivating them towards self -reliance. Bell and Ambadi are purchased from farmers by women groups, which are prepared after drying and processing. In this process, the pulp of the vine is extracted by women, the seed is separated and sugar and cardamom powder is added as per taste.
After this, bottling is done by keeping the juice in the freezer. Similarly, its juice is also prepared by drying Ambadi flowers and mixing other essential ingredients. There is a lot of demand in the market of this juice, due to which women are becoming self -sufficient.
Senior Agriculture Development Officer Jai Singh Khengar told Local18 that the project has been started under ‘Atma Yojana’. Through this, a target has been set to empower women. The prepared process of bell and Ambadi juice is completely natural, in which no chemical fertilizer or pesticide is used. Ambadi juice is rich in calcium, which makes it beneficial for health.
Maheshwari Gajendra of the women’s group told that she is making good profit due to the preparation of Bell and Ambadi juice. Women are earning income of thousands of rupees annually, which has brought positive changes in their lives.
Along with this, new outlets for women are also being planned in collaboration with the Department of Agriculture, where they will be able to sell their products. This initiative is proving to be an important step towards making women a strong place in the society along with making them self-sufficient.
